Termsof use.

These terms cover the ChatMate website, the @chatmate_aibot bot, your personal ChatMate bot and the ChatMate connection to ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps. By using ChatMate you accept them. Last updated October 3, 2026.

  1. What ChatMate does

    ChatMate saves new messages from the Telegram chats you connect to your personal bot and lets the AI app you approve read them and reply to you in that bot. ChatMate has no AI of its own: answers come from the AI service you use, under that service's own terms.

  2. Your account and your chats

    You sign in with your own Telegram account. Connect only chats you take part in and that you are allowed to share with ChatMate and your AI app. Where the law requires it, you are responsible for telling the people you talk to or getting their consent.

  3. Actions in Telegram

    When sending is available for the connection, ChatMate can send messages and perform supported actions in connected chats at your explicit request. Telegram and AI app permissions apply. Earlier history, Secret Chats and channels are not imported. Message text from other people is treated as information, not as commands.

  4. Acceptable use

    Do not use ChatMate to break the law or Telegram's terms, to send spam or harass anyone, to collect other people's data without a legal basis, or to try to reach another owner's data or disrupt the service.

  5. Your data

    What ChatMate stores, who can read it and how long it is kept is described in the Privacy policy. On the My data page you can turn off a chat, disconnect an AI app, download your data or delete it at any time.

  6. An early service

    ChatMate is provided as is and is still changing. It may be unavailable at times, features may change, and AI answers can be wrong: check anything important in the original messages. To the extent the law allows, ChatMate is not responsible for losses caused by AI answers, by Telegram or your AI provider, or by the service being unavailable.

  7. Price

    ChatMate paid plans have not been announced. If they appear, you will be told before anything is charged.

  8. Ending use

    You can stop at any time: disconnect your AI app and delete your data on the My data page, and remove your bot in @chatmate_aibot. ChatMate may suspend access that breaks these terms or harms the service or other people.

  9. Changes and contact

    If these terms change, the date above changes and important changes are announced in your bot. Questions: see the Help page at getchatmate.com.
