One message to Muse connects your Telegram.
Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent, builds a custom connector when you ask for one. Give it ChatMate’s address, sign in with Telegram, and Muse can read your chats and answer in them after you press Allow.
Muse for Mac: the owner asks what Mila wrote about dinner on Friday and asks to tell her he’s in. Muse searches Telegram, answers with the time and place, shows “Allow Muse to send a message with ChatMate?” and sends the reply after the owner allows it.

Connect Muse.
Muse sets up the connector itself: you send one request and sign in. Meta offers Muse in the US, Canada and Japan.
First, your personal bot
Muse reads Telegram through your own ChatMate bot. Create it in @chatmate_aibot and connect the chats you want. It takes a couple of minutes in Telegram and is done once for every AI.
How to create the bot and connect chatsSend Muse this request
In any chat with Muse: in the app, on muse.ai or in Muse for Mac.
Request to Muse Create a custom connector for the remote MCP server ChatMate at https://www.getchatmate.com/api/connector/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in)Sign in with Telegram
Muse opens a ChatMate page. Sign in with Telegram and allow access. Muse keeps the connection in your account, under Settings › Connectors.
Ask about a chat
“What did Mila write about Friday?” Muse searches the chats you connected to your bot and answers in the same thread.
Allow the reply
When you ask Muse to answer someone, it shows “Allow Muse to …?” with a task summary. Press Allow and the message goes out: from you in a private chat, from your bot in a group.
What works in Muse.
Muse reads the chats you connected, from the moment you connected them and up to 60 days back.
Answers from your chats
Who wrote what, what a group settled on, what is still open. Muse names the chat and the time.
Replies after Allow
Muse sends only after you allow it: from you in a private chat, from your bot in a group.
Inside the errands Muse runs
A time, an address or a request from Telegram can go straight into what Muse is already doing with your other connected apps.
In your Muse account
The connector lives under Settings › Connectors, where you can also remove it.
Questions about Muse.
- Is this Muse inside Telegram?
No. It brings your own Telegram chats into Muse. You keep writing in Telegram as usual, and Muse reads the chats you connected to your ChatMate bot.
- Where can I use Muse?
Meta offers Muse in the US, Canada and Japan to people 18 and over with a Meta account. Its interface comes in English, Japanese and many other languages, though not in Russian or Ukrainian.
- Does Muse send without asking?
By default Muse asks before it writes anything, and Meta names sending a message as an example. You see “Allow Muse to …?” with Allow, Always allow and Deny, and you can change the rule per connector in Muse’s settings.
- Does it work in the Meta AI app?
Meta AI is a separate Meta app. In its desktop app the same request adds ChatMate, though Meta hasn’t documented custom connectors there yet. If Meta AI doesn’t offer to create the connector, use Muse.
- Can Muse answer tasks I send to my ChatMate bot?
Not yet. Ask Muse in Muse. Tasks you send to your bot are answered by an AI set up for that on the connect page, such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- How do I disconnect it?
Remove ChatMate in Muse under Settings › Connectors. To turn off the access on ChatMate’s side, open My data.
Next to Muse other ways in.
The same ChatMate in other AI apps.
